I have a son who lives and works in Singapore. But, as any mother will tell you, when I ask him about his fair city, he usually answers, "It's a great place; fun; lots to do; and, interesting." Well, pictures truly are worth a million words. Thanks to Flickr, I can see what he is talking about. (My son, 'a man of few words').
The exquisite colors, flowers, buildings, natural seasonal banquet of sunsets, and lights all over the place in the middle of the night. Talk about a carbon footprint! (Singapore at night).
However, I do a geographic bulletin board contest for my computer classes; and creative writing classes, which involves naming the countries in which famous cities are located. Now, my students may have a world tour, thanks to Flickr. Just love this.
