I have always wanted to write!! I guess as a librarian with a secret desire to devour a pen in order to express myself, it only seems natural to write to fellow librarians, "bookies", and others who work in the information field.

I am fortunate to also be a teacher of creative writing; and, I am setting up a modern 21st century school library media center complete with computer lab. My school library is in Lancaster, Texas in a small private school called Berne Academy on Johns Avenue. We are a "hop skip and jump" from the city limits of Dallas, Texas. Our school engages the learning styles of K--12 learners, and we have a small student body, but a spirited group of young people. We also value our dedicated teaching faculty, of which I am pleased to be a part.

I wish to begin my blog to introduce myself, and to invite others to share their technology expertise whenever I get "stuck" or need encouragement, luck, or a just plain common sense piece of advice about technology and Web 2.0 subjects. What may seem elementary to you, may be extremely new to me. I will have spotty pieces of technology "lack of knowledge" syndrome. But, I attribute that to not having come to the blogging table soon enough. I am going to join the Northeast Texas (District 7) Thing 23 beginning in June. Hope I survive as well as those whom I have already read about. It is a privilege to be with you.
